I thought the hotel was situated in a perfect spot, very close to Inverness and the other local attractions but also very secluded, so when you wanted to relax in the hotel, it gave you the illusion of being far out in the country. The interior was fabulous, I loved all the photos of the Scottish wildlife the owner had taken and put up over the hotel. It all reminded me of something quite medieval which I love. The owner was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

A beautiful small hotel where owners attention to detail is evident everywhere. We had a very enjoyable stay. Received a very warm welcome from Mike the owner. Enjoyed a tasty supper in the cosy bar. Good nights sleep in a comfortable room. Breakfast was deilcious in their beautiful dining room. My husband enjoyed the local black pudding.. Look forward to staying there again.

The owner was informative, the breakfast fresh and good, the location a good combination of countryside and close to Inverness. So a good balance for our use. Very quiet, until we wanted excitement!
Would like WiFi in rooms and not just the common areas...but then the common areas are also nice to sit in. Makes it less than perfect for internet based business needs.

The personal touch is evident from moment. Of arrival up the sweeping drive. The proprietor was extremely pleasant, the hotel is clean, well decorated and equipped, the rooms extremely spacious, comfortable and with beautiful views. We enjoyed badger spotting and picking up photography tips! Breakfast was delicious. An excellent all-round experience. Their own in-room guide was particularly useful and unique.

We Were delighted with the Hotel Owner made us very welcome. The rooms were lovely clean and very tidy and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very good and a good choice on the menu. Would recommend the hotel to anyone. It was pervect for us as you have the town with all the shops and you enter the Hotel gate and it is a different world you think your in the country so quite and restful will return in the future.
